Hotel Deca offers more than 5,500 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space including The Grand Ballroom which was included in over 2 million in upgrades and improvements to the overall hotel. Upon arrival of your meeting attendees, they will first notice new furnishings, carpeting, artwork and a wine bar in the lobby. The hotel entrance exudes a modern, neo art-deco flavor to complement the building’s history, original design and architecture. The Grand Ballroom now features 18’ ceilings, hand-blown chandeliers and upgraded state-of-the-art audio/visual systems.
Hotel Deca is ideally suited for groups with its convenient location as the closest hotel to the University of Washington. Meeting Space at a Glance:
Grand Ballroom
The Grand Ballroom, 2,400 sq. ft., accommodates 270 and is ideal for large meetings, dinners, receptions or weddings. The Ballroom is fully renovated and retains the elegance and beauty of its original 1931 era with 18 foot high ceilings. The upgrade includes black out curtains and a 10x15 drop down screen. The upper living room can be utilized for registration and reception.
Conference Rooms
The Chancellor, College, Regent, and President rooms range in size from 550 to 850 square feet and are ideally suited as break-out rooms for concurrent sessions or as single event spaces for medium sized meetings or social events.
Boardroom
The boardroom accommodates 12 around a handsome cherry wood conference table with ergonomic leather executive chairs.

Hotel Deca partners with a local Seattle audio/visual company to provide a wide array of special event equipment to meet your needs.
